Phase 1

  • At the start of this phase, every player will have Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (36) Oppressing Howlapplied to them. If any of these debuffs remain when Sarkareth castsScalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (37) Glittering Surge then they will be stunned and take lethal amountsof damage.
  • Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (38) Oppressing Howl can be removed by taking damage fromScalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (39) Searing Breath or Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (40) Mass Disintegrate. Assigna large amount of the raid to be hit by the first Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (41) Searing Breathwith a raid healing cooldown, a smaller amount for the second, and whoeveris left over for the third cast. If any players are hit by Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (42) Mass Disintegratebetween these, they do not need to be in the breath as they have been hit by amechanic already and have lost their Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (43) Oppressing Howl debuff.
  • Healers: When Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (44) Oppressing Howl is removed from a player,it will trigger raid damage from Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (45) Echoing Howl.
  • Players targeted by Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (46) Mass Disintegrate should aimto point the line away from other players. This will deal damage toevery player, from the image of Sarkareth to that player.
  • Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (47) Scorching Bombs will spawn on random ranged players. Shortlyafter spawning, they will detonate, dealing raid-wide damage (and additionaldamage to players within 10 yards of it). Try and bait these and move aroundthe room each time these spawn.
  • Tanks: Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (48) Burning Claws is a swap on 1 stack mechanic. Thiswill deal damage to the raid when it expires. This damage is based on the amount ofdamage you have taken from the DoT left by the debuff. Try and reduce this with defensivecooldowns. Do not get 2 stacks of Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (49) Burning Claws.
  • This phase will end either when Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (50) Glittering Surge is casta second time or Sarkareth hits 60% HP.

Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (51)Heroic changes:

3.2.

Phase 2

This phase introduces the Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (53) Oblivion stacks andgently teaches you how to use them to your advantage to eithercapitalize on damage by getting Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (54) Astral Flare buffs, orby using the other realm to negate mechanics.

  • At the start of this phase, every player will receive 10 stacks ofScalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (55) Oblivion, which will send them into the other realm.
  • Whilst you are in the other realm, you will take 99% less damagefrom the Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (56) Emptiness Between Stars debuff and see threesoak pools. When you run into all three of these, you will return to theboss phase. Before you do this: Soak 10 Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (57) Astral Flareto receive a haste and movement speed buff.
  • Ideally, your raid should soak the third pool at 5 seconds or lessremaining on the Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (58) Emptiness Between Stars debuff and soakone final Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (59) Astral Flare before leaving to maximize thebenefits on the buff.
  • When all players have left, interrupt Sarkareth (this should be donein 5 seconds or less) to begin Phase 2.
  • In this phase, the boss has an entirely new set of mechanics. Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (60) Abyssal Breathwill target a random ranged player, and the boss will fly to that location.3 Null Glimmer adds will spawn, and they need to be prioritised and interrupted.
  • If the Null Glimmer adds successfully cast Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (61) Blasting Scream, theraid will take damage and have their casts interrupted.
  • Shortly after casting Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (62) Abyssal Breath, Sarkareth will createtwo Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (63) Desolate Blossoms at their location. Move away from these.
  • Finally, Sarkareth will spawn a Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (64) Void Bomb on arandom ranged player. This bomb can be picked up and will detonate after20 seconds dealing lethal amounts of raid damage. However, the player holdingthe bomb can enter Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (65) Emptiness Between Stars by standing in theScalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (66) Desolate Blossom to get 10 stacks of Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (67) Oblivion. Stay insideuntil the bomb detonates and leaves. This player should also grab 10 stacks ofScalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (68) Astral Flare whilst they are inside for some free haste.
  • Sarkareth will repeat these mechanics in order until the phase is over.
  • This phase will end either shortly after the third set ofScalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (69) Desolate Blossoms or Sarkareth hits 40% HP.

Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (70)Heroic changes:

  • Null Glimmer adds will cast Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (71) Rescind. This healsthem very quickly. This can be removed by moving them into Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (72) Desolate Blossoms.
  • You can also kill them very quickly and not have to worry about this mechanic.
  • Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (73) Infinite Duress will be cast on a random player. This debuffcan be removed with a dispel, however, when it is removed, two effects will occur:
    1. 1: The player with Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (74) Infinite Duress will be knocked up into the air.
    2. 2: All players will be knocked away from the player with Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (75) Infinite Duress.

3.3.

Phase 3

The final phase of the encounter adds a couple of new mechanics but keepsmost of the Phase 2 mechanics. This is where the fight really begins.

  • Similar to the start of the previous phase, Sarkareth will fly away, and you will not be able to attack the boss. The raid will then be pulledtowards the boss and pushed away. Make sure you stay on the platform!
  • Shortly after landing, Sarkareth will cast Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (76) Cosmic Ascensionat their location. This creates a 30-yard zone you need to run away from. You should run away as a raid to a pre-assigned location to spawn Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (77) Astral Formations.
  • This also spawns Null Glimmer adds, and they should be prioritisedand handled the same way as Phase 2.
  • The Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (78) Astral Formations are useful later in the phase as theyallow you to negate pushbacks in the fight.
  • Tanks: Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (79) Void Slash is a frontal attack andwill leave a debuff on everyone hit. Ensure the boss is faced away fromthe raid and your tank partner. After being hit by this run intoScalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (80) Motes of Oblivion to be sent into the other realm andwait for your debuff to time out. If you fail to do this, thenthe Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (81) Void Slash debuff will hit the raid basedon the amount of damage you have taken from the DoT of this debuff.
  • One player will recieve the Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (82) Embrace of Nothingness debuff. This will create a large shadow zone around them. The damage from thiscan be split with the raid and will also destroy any Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (83) Astral Formationsin the area. If you have too many Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (84) Astral Formations, you canopt to destroy some.
  • Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (85) Void Bombs will still spawn on a random ranged playerand should be handled the same way as Phase 2. However, instead of standingin shadow zones, the players should stand in Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (86) Motes of Oblivionas they give 5 stacks of Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (87) Oblivion each.
  • The final mechanic of the phase is Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (88) Scouring Eternity. This mechanic will kill any player who is not hiding from it.Every Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (89) Astral Formation will cast a line behind it, whichindicates a safe spot. Stand in one of these.
  • The mechanics will then repeat until the boss has been defeated.

Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (90)Heroic changes:

  • The addition of Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (91) Infinite Duress adds complexity tothe phase. The most notable part is where the raid is running awayfrom Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (92) Cosmic Ascension. For this, the raid should movetogether, and the player should move to the edge of the platform. When the Scalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (93) Astral Formations spawn the player withScalecommander Sarkareth Raid Guide in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible (94) Infinite Duress should be dispelled to knock the raid to safety.
