The Pine Bush Minors baseball team is two wins away from a District 19 championship after winning Bracket A.
They finished last week with a 16-1 win over Minisink in the opening game of the championship bracket.
Inclement weather kept other teams from finishing games until Sunday, forcing Pine Bush to wait until Monday. If they win on Monday, they will play for the District 19 championship on Thursday. If they lose Monday’s game, they will have to fight through the consolation bracket.
Montgomery also is alive in the consolation bracket. They lost their first tournament game and have won three straight to reach Sunday’s game against Minisink. They need to win their next five to capture the District 19 championship.
